Molly-Mae Praised For Calling Herself A 'Loner' And Saying Friends Are A Waste Of Time

Molly-Mae Praised For Calling Herself A 'Loner' And Saying Friends Are A Waste Of Time

The influencer likes to keep her circle small.

Molly-Mae Hague has spoken candidly about having a very select circle of friends.

The Love Island runner-up has revealed she’s more focused on her hugely successful career than socialising.

Speaking on the Diary of an CEO podcast, the 22-year-old explained: “My circle is minuscule.

“I have literally about five people in my circle, and that includes friends.”

However, the Creative Director of PrettyLittleThing went on the clarify that she “enjoys” being a “loner”, and instead wants to focus on making money.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.

“I work, I spend time with my boyfriend and I go to bed.

“That is literally my life. I’m not bothered about a social life. It’s never been something I’ve been interested in.”

Molly-Mae continued that she isn’t someone that enjoys going in big nights out, and rarely attends parties as she’s not much of a drinker.

“It’s not for me,” she said bluntly. “I’d rather just focus on making money, being successful and being happy.”

The influencer, who has been with boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury for over two years, admitted that she had cut ties with a lot of friends since she took part in Love Island in 2019.

“It sounds savage but sometimes friends, they just – not cling on, but they don’t add much," she said.

“I know that sounds a bit savage, but… I’m not that girl from Hitchin any more. I’m not that young girl who was a lifeguard at Hitchin swimming pool.

“That’s not me. I’m living in a different world now and a lot of my friends can’t relate to that.

“I’m a bit of a loner, but I like it.”

Molly-Mae, we salute your frankness.

The star has always been an open book, using her YouTube channel to speak openly to her millions of followers.

In one of her more recent camera confessions, she showed the scars she now has following her endometriosis surgery.
