A new documentary has exposed a bizarre voice note that Justin Baldoni sent to his team about Blake Lively, just weeks before she accused him of harassment in a bombshell lawsuit.
For those out of the loop with the high-profile drama, in a shocking lawsuit filed in December by Lively, Baldoni was accused of exhibiting overly-sexualised behaviour towards her while on the set of the movie adaptation of Coleen Hoover's best-selling domestic drama, It Ends With Us, with the Gossip Girl alum listing a number of incidents of harassment.
This included making ceaseless inquisitions about her sex life with actor husband Ryan Reynolds, improvising scenes of intimacy without her consent, and discussing his addiction to porn.
Lively, 37, also accused Baldoni of working with a team of publicists to orchestrate a 'smear campaign' against her by planting fake stories online.

In response, Baldoni, 41, denied all claims Lively had made against him, and filed a $400m defamation countersuit against her.
In it, the father-of-two had alleged that his co-star had 'stolen' the 2024 romantic-drama from him by issuing a list of production demands, and threatened to 'attack' him in the press if he did not obey.
The Jane The Virgin actor also claimed that Lively, her husband Reynolds and their publicist Leslie Sloan had worked with the New York Times to 'spread a false narrative that Baldoni committed sexual misconduct towards' her.

In the midst of the high-stakes legal battle, a jaw-dropping new documentary is set to be released, which will feature a number of messages sent between Lively and Baldoni in the months prior to the film's release.
Lively vs Baldoni: The Hollywood Feud - which lands on Discovery+ on 17 July - promises a deep-dive into the pair's legal showdown, and includes exclusive interviews with media experts, lawyers and friends.

The hour-long special also includes a voice note that Baldoni allegedly sent to his team following the film's premier, directly from movie theatre's basement.

Speaking in the documentary, Crisis PR expert Doug Eldridge tells viewers of the high-profile red carpet: "It was later alleged during the screening that Blake Lively had insisted that Baldoni and his family and everybody be kept separate - that they actually be in the basement of the facility."
A voice note then hears Baldoni say to an unnamed member of his team: "I was in the basement with the people that I love the most, and we were all joyful and laughing, because none of that s**t matters."
The actor then continued in his somewhat strange message: "We’re in the business because we’re artists, and we believe in what we do.
"And I believe that will follow each of us, and truth will prevail and that light and love will win."

Back in June, a judge dismissed Baldoni's countersuit, ruling that he and his team had 'not adequately alleged that Lively’s threats were wrongful extortion rather than legally permissible hard bargaining or renegotiation of working conditions'.
Days later, Lively responded to the ruling, writing on social media: "Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.
"While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back."

Lively went on to claim she's now 'more resolved than ever' to 'stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves.'
A trial date for the pair has since been set for 9 March 2026.
Lively vs Baldoni: The Hollywood Feud is available to stream exclusively on Discovery+ from Thursday 17 July.
