Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were faced with heckles from Selena Gomez fans as they stepped onto the Met Gala 2021 red carpet together on Sunday night.
The married couple dressed to the nines to attend the delayed fashion bash at the weekend at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum, with model Hailey, 24, opting for a Saint Laurent gown while Justin, 27, sported a black suit by “la masion Drew.”
But their moment in front of the cameras was somewhat overshadowed by screaming Selena fans, yelling her name at them.

The clip, shared on TikTok, shows Selena Gomez fans chanting her name at the couple.

"These are the type of fans that make celebs miserable," one person wrote after coming across the clip online.
While another penned: "Ok I'm a Selena fan but this is just absolutely horrid let them be dang".
"Imagine being someone's WIFE and strangers shout his ex-girlfriend's name at you wherever you go," said another, referencing Hailey. "I feel for her".
"They are literally married. Give it up! It's so disrespectful," wrote another.

Selena and Justin dated from 2011 on and off up until 2018 - and many of their fans found their breakup and subsequent relationships difficult to swallow.
After one fan said on an Instagram live last year that they wanted to "bombard" Hailey with stuff about 'Jelena' - including the fact that Justin and Selena's relationship was 'better', the Baby singer announced that he'd had enough.
“This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife telling people to say that my previous relationship was better [and] so on and so forth," Justin said.
"It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love the most in this world. It is not right."

Neither Justin or Selena have commented on the Met Gala chanting.
