"We got away for four days, it was a bit of like, got a bit of content, bit of chill time but yeah it was a really nice environment for him to meet everyone.

She was asked what she thought of Love Island winners Ekin-Su and Davide's news that they will be moving in together later this year.

"I mean I can’t blame them, it's like, it's so weird after being in an environment with them 24 hours a day to not seeing them all the time," she said.

"It's hard, and I’m struggling with it trying to balance different parts of my life so I totally get it, and totally support it.

"Let’s be girlfriend and then we can talk about moving in together."

Gemma then explained that Luca has yet to pop the girlfriend question, although he has previously said that he has something special planned for the occasion.

She said: "I mean I know I said in the villa let's wait till we get out, want you to meet the family, let's not rush it, but now I'm like, okay."

Gemma and Luca were runners up in this year's Love Island.

Luca also confirmed that the pair still aren't official on Instagram when asked by a fan.

He wrote: "Yeah we're still together, nearly official."

Gemma previously explained that she didn't want to go official in the villa because Luca hadn't met her family yet and they hadn't had a chance to experience normal life together.

"I feel like in the villa, for me, there was only a certain amount of feelings I could get for Luca in that environment because you've got nothing to do with the outside," she said.
