Love Island reunion branded 'worst in history' as fans complain

Love Island reunion branded 'worst in history' as fans complain

Fans are somewhat disappointed

Love Island 2022 came to an end last week, with the public crowning Davide and Ekin-Su as the rightful winners of the dating series - prompting fans to believe ‘God is real’ with the good news.

But now, viewers are somewhat disappointed after watching the Love Island reunion yesterday (Sunday, 7 August), branding the get-together episode as the ‘worst in history’.

Following the hour-and-a-half reunion episode which aired on ITV2 last night, viewers quickly took to social media to express their feelings about the show.

In fact, one viewer went as far to say: “That reunion was the worst one in love island history,” while another added: “Can’t get over how dead that #LoveIsland reunion was.”

“I’m actually so annoyed at how boring this reunion is. STOP RECAPPING. Literally no discussion about the show or exposing ppls behaviour #LoveIsland #loveislandreunion,” a different fan wrote on Twitter.

Another viewer added: “Most boring reunion, no drama, no news — just showed clips we all seen already. Could have been an email. #LoveIsland.”

Elsewhere, others questioned why the reunion came only a week after the final.

One person said: “I’ll never understand why Love Island have the reunion right off the finale. Why not after 6 months at least?”

Another echoed: “I feel like they do the reunion too soon after they have left the villa and nothing else has happened yet. We’re just being shown clips we’ve seen before and the islanders look knackered #LoveIsland.”

Tyla has contacted a representative of Love Island for comment.

Elsewhere in the final episode, contestant Summer Botwe has spoken out after coming to blows with fellow 2022 Casa Amor bombshell Coco Lodge.

The drama surfaced after Summer said on the episode that ‘someone wishes they would have got with someone,’ appearing to signal towards Coco.

Josh and Summer both expressed an interest in getting to know each other.

Coco then said in response: “It’s just banter. If you can’t handle a big personality, don’t go on reality TV."

Summer then said: “I just wanna clarify, I don’t fight over anyone because there’s no competition,” before the whole thing was then ended by co-host Darren Harriott who was forced to step in.

One of the other Casa Amor bombshells, Josh Le Grove, is reported to be at the centre of a love triangle of sorts, which could be the reason for their arguments.

After Josh and Summer both expressed an interest in getting to know each other after being dumped, Coco said she 'could have' slept with the 22-year-old model in an interview.
