Love Island's Coco Lodge Shares Her Real Name

Love Island's Coco Lodge Shares Her Real Name

The Love Island star shared the adorable reason why she's known as Coco!

Coco Lodge might have had a brief stint in the Love Island villa this year, but the Casa Amor bombshell certainly made an impact during her time.

After all, she did couple up with Andrew after he expressed his doubts about his now-girlfriend Tasha when the new girls relayed less than favourable opinions about her behaviour. Watch Tasha and Andrew get back on track:

Now dumped, Coco has opened up about her time on the dating show and, much to fan's delight, revealed her real name!

The 27-year-old made the revelation on an Instagram Stories Q&A when a fan asked her what her real name is.

She replied alongside an adorable picture of her younger self: "I was born Chloe but couldn't pronounce my name so renamed myself Coco as a toddler #extra."

Coco was also asked if she got on well with the Casa Amor girls, and she explained that the group hit it off so well that they were nervous when their stint came to an end.

She explained: "We were all so close by the end of Casa, we were so nervous at the recoupling and got on so well [sic]."

"It was a shock to come out to exaggerated lies and comments never made to my face by a few of the girls but I now get the chance to set that straight."

Coco also opened up about one aspect of the show that us viewers rarely get to see and that is the islanders tucking into their dinner and eating!

She said: "We eat catering off camera separated to save the chat, but we love to snack. 3am toasties every night."

Andrew also shared a kiss with Coco.

As reported by The Sun, a little-known fact about the show is that the islanders get to eat from a nearby kitchen tent with its own caterer.

Head chef Ferenc feeds both the contestants and the production team who make the hit dating show happen.

He said: "We do lunch and dinner for them, every single day. They always eat the food, but they really like the burger and the ribs as well.

"We always get feedback from the contestants and production, every single day."

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9 pm, and it's set to be another scorcher of an episode with a pool party dumping!
