Davide says he's saving Ekin-Su in his phone as 'liar'

Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti revealed to fans he plans to save his girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's number in his phone under the name 'liar'. Watch the video below:

The couple are renowned for their bickering and their final interview before leaving the villa proves nothing has changed – and we couldn't be happier.

Ekin-Su said: "You can’t call me Ekin-Su," when the 27-year-old business owner was asked to reveal the moniker he had planned for her in his contacts list.

Davide then referenced his now iconic line, 'You are a liar, actress!' when asked to share his nickname for his girlfriend when saving her phone number.

While most couples would probably opt for something more conventional like 'Bae', fans of the hit dating show will know that these two are anything but conventional.

The nation’s favourite ‘old married couple’ revisited the time when the Turkish actress lied about kissing Jay Younger on the terrace.

Looking back at the viral moment from the series, Ekin-Su said she would not do anything differently.

“Even the mistakes I made during my time in the villa brought me to the right path,” Ekin-Su said when asked about her time in the villa.

Davide quipped: “Yeah you could be honest though and say you’re a liar.”

Ekin-Su jokingly responded: "No, I’m glad I lied."

Davide replied, laughing: “‘I’m glad too because apparently it became famous, my line ‘You are a liar!’"

Social media users were quick to celebrate the couple's win, with viewers gushing: "GOD IS REAL!”

A second viewer praised: "Ekin-Su and Davide deserve this 50k as a fee for their entertainment alone [sic]."

In other news, Davide's sister Valeria has set the record straight after unfollowing Ekin-Su on Instagram.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Davide’s sister, a theoretical physicist, had unfollowed her brother’s partner on social media.

Valeria has since taken to Instagram to clear up the worries, writing: "I have been receiving many dm asking what for unfollowing @ekinsuofficial. Thanks for asking, but nothing happened!

"Yesterday night I was reacting to many photos of them and tomorrow I just realised I unfollowed Ekin, thanks for your messages. I'm sorry I made you worry."

She added: "I love her and Davide and I hope to meet her again soon. EkinDe."
