Love Island Fans Are Just Discovering What Davide Does For A Living

...You mean being an Italian snack isn't a full-time job?

Love Island fans are losing it after learning what series champion Davide Sanclimenti did for a living before he first set foot in the villa.

After stepping in as the first bombshell of 2022, Davide managed to steal viewers' hearts with his iconic one-liners and his fiery romance with Ekin-Su Culculoglu, who he will now split a whopping £50,000 with.

Watch the moment he and Ekin-Su were crowned the winners of Love Island here:

However, if, in some dystopian parallel universe, Davide and Ekin-Su didn't win the ITV series, it looks like the Italian stallion would have been able to manage just fine without the cash prize.

When he first introduced himself on TV, Davide avoided offering any details about his profession.

While Paige Thorne revealed she was a paramedic, and Luca Bish shared that he was a fishmonger, Davide simply described himself as 'Italian.'

And for a while, that was all viewers needed to know. But after claiming his title as the winner of Love Island 2022, fans want to know more about the 27-year-old.

Well, it turns out that Davide owns his own business called S Deluxe Shisha - a manufacturer of electronic shishas.

According to the company website, S Deluxe Shisha is 'a premium service offered in some of the most exclusive hospitality venues located in North West, England.'.

"We have partnership with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes.

"We offer catering-service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French made e-liquids. High quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market."

OG Davide fans might already have known this since, back in June, Davide's social media handlers spilled the details of his business.

However, many fans are only learning about Davide's lucrative business now, and are trying to make sense of it all on Twitter.

Davide's friends spoke about his business back in June.

"Davide runs a shisha company in Manchester, I'm screaming", tweeted one user following Davide's Love Island win.

"I just learnt that Davide is an entrepreneur owning a shisha business," wrote a second. "This guy was always meant to have a Turkish wife. I'm convinced they're soulmates. I can't get over them two!!"

"Davide is the manager of a SHISHA BRAND?" asked a third.

A fourth baffled fan commented: "Davide being director of S Deluxe Shisha in Manny... like what on earth."

And a fifth admitted: "Davide owning a Shisha business is the last thing I expected"

It's not clear as of yet what Davide's business plans are now he's gained celebrity status and finds himself a few grand richer.

As per Love Island tradition, both he and Ekin-Su will undoubtedly be flooded with enough brand deal offers to keep them afloat for quite some time - Shisha empire or not.
