A Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Has Landed At Starbucks

A new toasted marshmallow hot chocolate has just launched at Starbucks and we're salivating just thinking about it.

And despite reports it doesn't drop until 5th November, we have found that you can in fact already get the dreamy-sounding drink on the app.

It's the first Christmas drink the chain has dropped for the season and sweet toothed members of the public are sure to be delighted by the dreamy hot chocolate combined with mocha sauce, marshmallow syrup, marshmallow flavoured whipped cream and rounded off with a caramelised sugar topping.

It sounds a lot, but in the very best way. A real festive treat that ranges in price from £3.25 to £4.05 depending on the size you order.

You can get it served in a Christmassy red cup too, seeing as they are coming back for the season.

For some, the sign that marks Christmas is the Coca-Cola van, for others, it's the John Lewis advert, but for many, it's the sign of the red cups at Starbucks - which this year it will also release in a reusable version too.

The colourful cups mark the launch of the fun new festive menu at the chain, which it is yet to release in full, but we expect to see favourites appear from previous years including indulgent toffee nut, gingerbread and eggnog lattes. Fingers crossed.

Last year Starbucks also offered up a Christmas brulee latte combining eggnog milk with a rich crème brulee sauce and fresh espresso, as well as a salted caramel brownie hot chocolate which came with brownie-flavoured whipped cream on top as well as pieces of brownie and salted caramel sauce.

We hope to see those return, but even if they don't, we know the store will have something else delicious up its sleeves.

And while you wait for the full range to be announced, you can enjoy the autumn special, the pumpkin spice latte, a seasonal favourite that ranges in price from £3.25 to £4.10.

This year there is a special Halloween treat too, The Phantom Frappucino, crafted from coconut milk, mango essence and lime slime, which is only available for six days, from 26th - 31st October and costs £2.90 for a miniature size and £3.85 for a 'Venti' large size.

There's nothing quite like a festive drink to get you into the holiday spirit.
