British fans of Lotus Biscoff, rejoice: the cult biscuit brand has listened to your cries and announced that it's finally launching 'Biscoff & Go' pots in the UK for £1 a pop.

The beloved snack has been transformed into handy portable packs, much like the Nutella Go pots and Dairylea Dunkers, which consist of Lotus Biscoff spread on one side and little bread sticks for dipping on the other.

Loyal fans of the caramel biscuit are in for a tasty treat with the latest addition as it rolls out in local convenience shops, such as Nisa, Costcutter and Spar, in the coming months

The new snack is suitable for vegans, those with a dairy intolerance and made without artificial colours or flavours.

Originally the snack was solely available in America, but it appears they have finally seen the errors of their ways!

Speaking of the launch, Frances Booth, category marketing manager for Lotus Bakeries, told Convenience Store they were delighted to finally launch the product on our shores.

She said: "It all began with a little red biscuit and now we have become a three-category brand with the launch of Biscoff & Go rooting us firmly in the food-to-go market and driving sales in a new direction.

"We are delighted to introduce Biscoff & Go in the UK, so that our customers can enjoy the taste of Lotus Biscoff anytime, anywhere and in a handy dunk and go format.

Adding: "Biscoff & Go is the perfect snack and another way in which retailers can benefit from the nation's continued obsession with the unique caramelised flavour of Lotus Biscoff."

The joyous news comes five months after the brand unveiled their mouth-watering ice cream in the UK, which really took the biscuit.

As the Biscoff brand continues to grow, Lotus have proved that you should never underestimate a Dutch biscuit. Not bad for a snack that's was originally made for the festive season, right?
