McDonald's is finally launching the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry in their UK and Ireland restaurants next week.

The limited-edition frozen treat is already an international bestseller having being sold in McDonald's abroad in previous years.

With UK fans being desperate to get their hands on the collab from their local, it will finally hit their restaurants from 21 June.

The new Lotus Biscoff McFlurry will be a part of the McDonald's 2023 summer menu.

This hotly-anticipated treat features the deeply caramelized tasting biscuit swirled onto the soft serve McFlurry ice cream, along with a sauce, for an extra crunch.

McDonald's fans have long had this new flavour of the very popular biscuit on their wish list after previously begging on Twitter for it to appear.

One expectant user wrote: “Lotus Biscoff McFlurry needs to make an appearance in the UK.”

And another fan begged after a trip abroad: “A Lotus Biscoff McFlurry in the Zagreb McDonald’s last night @McDonaldsuk pleaseeeeeeeee at this to the menu in the UK”

McDonald’s will even be hosting a taster lunch break where free Lotus Biscoff McFlurry will be available for fans to get their hands on one.

Taking place at Queen's Stone, London, SE1 9PH, on Friday 16 June between 11:30am - 2pm, there will be a limited number of free McFlurries available for fans to try.

And for UK fans outside of London, head to the MyMcDonalds Rewards app from 4pm – 5pm every Wednesday (until 5 July) for a buy one get one free McFlurry offer.

Thomas O’Neill, Head of Marketing, McDonald’s UK and Ireland said: “We’re so pleased to be launching the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry in the UK and Ireland. It’s been a long-time hope to some of our McDonald’s patrons and we’re glad we can make this into a reality.

We take great pride in what we offer our customers and we really do listen to what they want; spending time researching and developing all the possibilities. It’s what we enjoy and it’s why I am personally proud of this new menu.”
