These New Milky Way and Galaxy Delights Are Here To Blow Your Mind

“Whip it, shake it, freeze it, sauce it!”

Remember Angel Delight? Of course you do. That classic childhood DIY dessert that was a little taste of heaven in your mouth. Well Galaxy and Milky Way have just launched their own versions and we are so on board.

What a time to be alive.

Rumour has it the powdery stock has been flying off shelves since the product hit B&M stores a couple of weeks ago, and at just £1.99, we're not exactly surprised. You can basically get two for the price of a Tesco meal deal and we know which one will make us happier.

If you manage to get your hands on a packet, then be prepared to be whisked away to an alternate universe as these fuss-free desserts are everything we've ever dreamed of and more. The best bit? Each chocolate powder makes four different treats so you can whip up everything from ice-cream to a decadent mousse right in the comfort of your own kitchen.

To create a delicious chocolate mousse that's light and fluffy, simply whisk your sachet with 200ml cold milk for three minutes. For a firmer set mousse, feel free to chill for one hour before you indulge.

Creating a milkshake is easy peasy, too - all you have to do is mix your powder with 200ml cold milk and whisk or shake until it reaches the desired consistency.

Next up is ice-cream - just pour 100ml cold milk and whisk on high speed before freezing for three hours, while to concoct a comforting hot chocolate just combine your Milky Way or Galaxy Delight with 25ml of cold water in a large cup and mix to a smooth paste before microwaving for 30 seconds.

Over on our favourite Facebook group 'Money Saver Online', fans are also suitably excited, with one commenting: "think we should go to B&M tonight" followed by lots of heart-eye emojis, while another posted: "OMG we need to try these!"

Ok so just one question - where have you been all our lives?
