Lidl Is Selling Chocolate Orange Flavour Gin In New Spirits Range

Chocolate orange has been the flavour du jour this year, with the citrus tang of orange being married to the delicious rich sweetness of chocolate in a number of must-have products.

And now Lidl is capitalising on the craze with a brand new chocolate-orange flavour gin - which sounds absolutely delicious.

Titled The Brecon, the special gin features flavours of soft, powdery cocoa and silky sweet vanilla. The sugary flavours are offset with bright bursts of orange and an unmistakably full-bodied juniper resulting in an original twist on a classic drink.

A 70cl bottle is available for just £18.99 from 3^rd November. Fill our glasses up already!

But chocolate orange is not the only festive-flavoured gin available to purchase from Lidl, with the store launching a range of fresh new bevvies as part of their winter-themed Spirits Festival.

Another tipple that may tickle your fancy in the brand new Anno Spiced Cranberry Gin, which is set to be the perfect accompaniment to your Christmas dinner.

Mixing sweet cranberry with zesty orange, the gin also features spicy cloves and cassia, and would pair well with apple juice for a more distinct flavour.

At £19.99, it's the perfect drink to stock up on ahead of Crimbo.

Other flavours launching include Bristol Distillings Dark Fruits Gin, and the Harborough Spirits Company Pear Drop Gin. Both at £19.99 a pop, we're going to be spoilt for choice over festive season!

In other chocolate orange news, Maltesers have announced they're putting a brand new spin on their much-loved chocolate bunnies.

Adding orange flavour to their Easter treats, the brand confirmed the new sweets will be ready in time for 2021 (finally, something to look forward to).

Mars are also launching Galaxy orange truffles - which are already available to purchase! Currently on sale in Tesco, the decadent citrus truffle is the perfect blend of silky chocolate and tangy orange - all in one big box.
