Krispy Kreme has launched Christmas limited edition doughnuts and they look deliciously festive.

This year, the doughnut giants are celebrating the magic of good, bad and ugly Christmas jumpers by creating a series of delicious treats to match.

The Christmas range is available online and in store now for a limited time, and features four different mouthwatering flavours.

First up is the Ugly Jumper doughnut - with a "far-from-ugly" caramel and chocolate filling and jumper decoration - and Krispy Kreme promise "yule love it" (get it?!)

Next, there's a Rudolph Reindeer flavour, comprising of Krispy Kreme's signature ring doughnut with a caramel flavour icing and reindeer decoration.

Meanwhile the Santa Belly doughnut features a kreme filling and Santa decoration while the Peppermint Plaid ring doughnut is topped with a peppermint flavour icing and a jumper decoration, too.

You can get your hands on the Christmas Jumper Dozen in store or via click and collect for £13.95, meanwhile individual prices start at £1.85 for the Peppermint Plaid, £2 for the Rudolph Reindeer and £2.25 for the Santa Belly and Ugly Jumper doughnuts.

Louise Direito, Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland's Head of Innovation said: "So much of the magic of Christmas is rooted in the excitement and nostalgia the holidays bring. We're delighted to bring a tasty twist on a classic tradition with our new Christmas Jumper doughnuts.

"We'd like to wish everyone a very safe and Merry Christmas and hope our Christmas Jumper treats bring some sparkle and smiles to all our customers and their family and friends, whether in person or virtually this festive season."

In other festive food news, Marks and Spencer has launched a Christmassy Colin The Caterpillar.

The festive Colin features the usual chocolate Swiss roll, covered in a thick milk chocolate and decorated with a white chocolate smiley face - but now also sees a number of additional (and edible) Christmassy treats, including red bells, white baubles, a stack of presents and dark chocolate Christmas trees.
