While most of us are drinking more wine than usual as part of our lockdown rituals, Aldi is now offering budding connoisseurs the chance to test its delicious range of delicious wines from the comfort of their homes. Well, if we're doing it anyway...

The budget supermarket is calling for wine lovers to apply to its popular Aldi Wine Club. Every there months, a selection of 30 lucky tasters are chosen to try three bottles of Aldi's award-winning wines over a six-week period.

Members will be delivered free wine and all they'll have to do in exchange is taste them and leave an honest review using the #AldiWineClub hashtag. A bottle of wine for a tweet... hardly a tough trade off is it?

Along with their free wine, tasters will also be sent a selection of tasting notes and expert tips to guide them on how to assess the flavours, aroma and body of the wine so you can really play sommelier.

If you aren't successful, don't worry, you can still get Aldi's incredible wines delivered to your door via the supermarket's online booze shop.

While Aldi currently doesn't offer online grocery shopping, the online alcohol shop has been a huge hit during lockdown, with the supermarket giant explaining there's been an "unprecedented demand" for the service.

Although the online wine shop has been up and running for the last four years, some customers are only just discovering it for the first time.

Like many supermarkets offering online grocery deliveries, Aldi has put in place contact-free measures so you can have your vino delivered safely.
