Aldi's 2m Long Pig In Blanket Is Back For Christmas

Described by Aldi as a "stunning 2-metre long centrepiece made with impeccably seasoned British pork and bacon" the delicious sausage is priced at £4.99 and is perfect for sharing (or scoffing all to yourself).

It will be available from Thursday 3rd December.

Aldi has gone all out with its pigs in blankets this year, with a huge range including giant-sized pigs in blankets, loaded pigs in blankets, vegan pigs in blankets *and* the luxurious 'truffle pigs'.

Laced with the distinct flavour of truffle, the deluxe truffle pigs are perfect for anyone who likes a hint of luxury.

The delicious festive sausages are part of Aldi's huge Christmas range, which also includes halloumi chunks wrapped in bacon (which is on sale on 10th December) a Specially Selected British Wagyu Joint, and a Specially Selected cheese selection box (also dropping on 10th December).

The £7.99 box - which features five award winning cheeses - includes: Kidderton Ash Goats Cheese, Goosnargh Gold Double Gloucester, Farmhouse Tasty Lancashire, Smoked Farmhouse Red Leicester and Stratford Blue Cheese.

The supermarket is also offering some mouthwatering mince pie flavours, including salted caramel crumble, millionnaires mince pie, blood orange and gin, walnut and buttercream, and Amaretto, cherry and kirsch.

For those with a sweet tooth, Aldi has recently announced its epic selection of festive desserts, too including a Ferrero Rocher-inspired Chocolate and Praline Dome (£5.99), a Specially Selected Artic Roulade (£4.49), Specially Selected Damson Plum and Pink Gin Pudding (£8.99) and a Specially Selected Millionaires Pudding (£5.99).
