Ruth Wilson Appeared On The Cover Of Mizz Magazine And We're Freaking Out
Pictures of Ruth Wilson on the cover of Mizz Magazine have been unearthed, and we *cannot deal*.
However, we may well have seen her face on the front of magazines when we were younger, because she also graced Mizz Magazine at the age of 16, in pictures which have some eagle eyed fans have since posted online.
Ruth's debut on Mizz is referenced in her recent interview with The Telegraph.
The publication writes: "Within six weeks, she'd landed the cover of teen magazine, Mizz, 'with my hair in bunches and an inane grin on my face, looking about 12 years old'".
And, sure enough, the cover really does feature Ruth as a fresh faced and cheery teen back in 1998.
Ruth actually featured on the cover of Mizz twice. One cover is on the Spooky issue - which featured tips on how to celebrate Halloween and came with a free keyring (worth £2.99!!!) - and one features a report into 'why girls are sniffing solvents' and a quiz to find out whether you could be Billie Piper's new best friend.
Ah, we miss teen mags.
Some of Ruth's loyal fans have spotted the covers over the years and taken to social media to share them in excitement.

"Ruth Wilson on the cover of Mizz magazine," one wrote as they unearthed an old snap. "Life, Lads, Laughs. What a tagline".
Another shared a picture of the two magazines and wrote: "Is anyone able to join me in having their mind blown by this???? It's like this weird clash of worlds and eras and it shouldn't be this big a deal but somehow it is."
They added: "I used to be obsessed with Mizz when I was 8 (don't judge), and now I'm obsessed with Ruth Wilson, and it turns out she was in all of our lives all along on the cover of that bloody magazine!"
We feel equally shook, tbh.
Mizz Magazine launched in 1985, and when it was in its prime, it focused around fashion, celebrity gossip, real life stories and teen lifestyle topics, using 12-16 year old girls as models for many of its shoots.
Now but a distant memory, having folded in 2013, the mag has become a true cultural artefact of a time before Instagram, Twitter and influencer culture (even if it turns out one of our fave celebs was coincidentally on the front!).
We hope Ruth has these covers framed somewhere. If only we could rifle through those pages now...
