Prince William has shown a different side of his family as he revealed he was beside himself when meeting someone involved with their new obsession.
Having made history as the first member of the Royal Family to appear on The Graham Norton Show on Friday's episode (23 October), the prince sat down to rub elbows with Cate Blanchett, Robert Irwin and Hannah Waddingham.
There, he discussed his Earthshot Prize – an environmental scheme which awards winners a major £1 million fund if they meet any one of its climate goals.
He said on the show: “For many years I was hearing stories about environment issues and one thing that struck me was the negativity and doom which got me down.

“I thought we could do something more powerful and more optimistic and the idea of an awards’ ceremony came about and we could talk about urgency and optimism together. It’s all about getting excited.”

However, that wasn't all the father-of-three admitted to, as he teased a new TV show he, wife Kate Middleton, and children Charlotte and Louis are 'obsessed with'.
Of all things, it's Celebrity Traitors.
The royal went on to joke that his love of the hit UK show has gone so far that he even attempted to make physical contact with Faithful and hardman, Ross Kemp, before his whirlwind murder in plain sight.
William said: “I love it, the family love it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly."
He added that he soon met his idol and couldn't contain himself, noting: “I saw Ross Kemp the day after the first episode and I couldn’t help but try – in the most appropriate way – to touch him to see what reaction I got from him. Turns out he was really jumpy!”
But it isn't just reality competition shows that tickle is fancy, as the royal said he's also a fan of blockbuster director, Christopher Nolan.
He told the audience: “I like action films too, but I like something a bit different. I’m a big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does. His films are fantastic – The Dark Knight series is psychologically dark and deep and I absolutely love that. He takes concepts that are completely out there and makes them incredibly entertaining.”

Prince William met Kemp at the launch of a new initiative called Ready Together, run with the National Emergencies Trust earlier this month.
The pair met in Ilminster, Somerset in a bid to help communities prepare for emergencies such as flooding and wildfires, reports the BBC.
However, whilst there, Wills couldn't help himself in trying to get Kemp to reveal a Traitors spoiler.
William joked: “I'm going to get the answer.
“Do you watch The Traitors? I'm going to get the answer to what happens and I am going to tell you later.
“Spoiler alert today...he's here.”
Well, what did happen is that Kemp was murdered in plain sight by Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenney with...a yawn.
So it looks like there's no spoiler needed.
