There's a sex position that could be more pleasurable for women than the classic '69' - and it's called '68'.

Everyone knows about the '69' sex position, but it turns out that there could be another position that we haven't known about - and it apparently gives '69' a run for it's money.

While keeping everything we like about '69', the '68' position is designed to give women a bit more TLC.

After all, sometimes a bit of selfish love is just needed.

And Gigi Engle, a sex expert at the LGBTQIA+ dating app Taimi, has revealed that the selfish nature is actually what makes it so brilliant.

Talking to Cosmopolitan, she said: "The position is a very relaxing one, you are actually laying there to receive rather than being expected to do something in return.

"A lot of the time, when women and people with vulvas have problems with orgasm, it’s because they don’t think that they have an entitlement to pleasure, due to the way that they have been socialised to be givers and to always be servicing other people.

"This position really lends itself to just laying back and enjoying.”

Sounds good right? But how exactly do you go about trying it out?

The position involves one person lying down on their back with their knees bent, and feet flat on the floor.

The receiving partner then relaxes on their significant other's chest while resting their head on top of their thighs.

And if you are a woman or vagina-owner, according to Cosmopoltian, then you should position your vulva over your partner’s mouth which gives them full access to your nether regions - and leaving you to experience the magic.

And the sex expert says it's a pretty wild sensation, adding: "The giver has access to basically your whole vulva.

“You’re going to receive all the clitoral stimulation you need, and the vaginal vestibule – the entrance of the vagina – can also be stimulated.”

Despite the position sounding like a dream, it could be a little harder than you first thought to re-create it.

A tip is to use your elbows to prop you up and take some weight off your partner. And then the rest is up to you both - or if you want a challenge to spice things up, then perhaps you can give the 'broken eagle' a try.

Love Island's Paige Throne revealed it to be her 'favourite sexual position' on the show, and it's apparently quite simple.
