Here's something you might not know about Matt Damon, despite being a grade-A Hollywood superstar, not many people realise how he met his wife Lucy.
Matt, 55, has told a tale of how the loved-up couple met for many years, but his proud wife Luciana, 49, also known as Lucy, has a different version of events.
The actor is currently starring in the new Christopher Nolan film, The Odyssey, and he has said in the past that he met his now-wife at a bar in Miami while he was filming the comedy Stuck On You.
He insists he saw her a across a crowded room and said it was love at first sight, saying he knew instantly she was the woman he would marry.

Lucy, however, tells a different tale about that night back in 2003, and how the star got mobbed.

The mum-of-four, from Argentina, is notoriously private and rarely speaks to the press, but she granted an interview to Vogue Australia when she attended Fashion Week in Sydney and corrected her husband's fanciful turn of events.
She recalls how she was working as a bartender at the time: "Matt’s story is that he saw me across the room and there was a light on me. And I’m like: ‘yeah it was a nightclub - there were lights everywhere!’” she joked.
“But he had started getting recognised and asked for pictures and autographs, and then it got kind of aggressive because people are drinking and stuff, and so he came and hid behind my bar … [wanting to] just hang out back there and have a drink. He says ‘oh I saw you and I really wanted to talk to you'" she recalled.
Rather than being starstruck, Lucy saw a golden opportunity: “So I put him to work with me! I said: ‘you know, if you’re going to be back here, you can’t just be standing there!’ He had trained as a bartender for a film years before, so he started making drinks."
There was another benefit to his hard work, as well as meeting her future husband: "He made me a ton of money in tips that night, because of course everyone wanted to go and see him. So it turned into a really fun night and then 15 years later here we are!”

Lucy was a single mum to her young daughter, Alexia, and it meant she said no to Matt at first.
She explained: “We definitely had a connection right away, it was so easy to talk to each other we were very comfortable [with each other], and by the end of the night he invited me to go out with his friends."
"But I was like: ‘I can’t, I have a four-year-old daughter, I’m not going anywhere'… and that was one of the things he loved, that I had a daughter," she revealed.
"He said: ‘I love that you’re a mum and that’s your priority’. Some guys might have been different, they might think it’s complicated, but for him it wasn’t," she added sweetly.
She said despite his fame, she saw him for who he was, too: "When you meet somebody that you have a connection with, that’s just the person that you have a connection with, all the other stuff— the movie-star part—wasn’t really a factor. It was just Matt, to me he’s just Matt.”
She added: "I just know I think we both feel, really, really lucky to have met each other so we don’t take that for granted. It’s life and marriage, so there’s ups and downs you know, but overall it’s easy and it’s fun. And he’s such a good dad.”
The couple went on to marry in 2005 and welcomed three more daughters, Gia, Isabella and Stella.
