Mum-of-three Tammy Hembrow has revealed the ‘wild’ baby names she almost picked out for her kids, having been turned off one in particular after it turned up in a hit Netflix series.

Tammy, a fitness influencer with 1.9 million followers on TikTok and 17.6 million on Instagram, who often posts about family life with her three kids.

In a recent video, she revealed a list of names that she’d previously considered for her children, warning followers in the caption not to take it personally if their own popped up.

“I don’t really even like my name either,” she joked.

Tammy’s kids have fairly unique names as it is, but she explained how things could have been even more out-there, having found the list while going through her phone.

The 29-year-old Aussie said: “I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote these names down!”

She revealed that her daughter Saskia, eight, was almost called ‘Sailor’, saying she ‘still loves’ the name and felt it was ‘really cute’.

Tammy is also mum to son Wolf, eight, and daughter Posy, 18 months.

“Next is Hercule,” Tammy said, laughing. “Like Hercules, but Hercule. I liked that for a while. I think it’s kind of cute, but I probably wouldn’t use it.”

She also listed Ezekiel or ‘Zeke’, Roman, Klaus, Alexi, Grey or Leonidas or ‘Leo’ for a boy, while girls’ names she once loved included Ruma and Suki – the latter a nod to True Blood character Sookie Stackhouse, played by Anna Paquin.

“I used to love that show and it just made me be obsessed with that name,” Tammy said.

For a gender-neutral option, Tammy also loved the idea of Sunny.

But while some of the names she still loves, there were some others that she would have regretted if she’d gone for them – such as Love.

“I used to love that one, but ever since You - and the girl’s name was Love - I just can’t not think of that girl anymore, so that’s immediate no,” Tammy explained.

She also no longer liked Cleo, Violet, Coco, Honor, Mercy and Hazel.

The name Love will ring a bell to fans of Netflix series You.

When Tammy was pregnant with Posy, she said Jupiter was at the top of her list before she knew she was expecting a girl.

“The nickname would be like, Jupey [or] little Jupe,” she said, also adding she no longer liked Phoenix as it’s now ‘everywhere’.

Many TikTokers found her ‘wild’ names absolutely hilarious, with one commenting: “The energy in this hahaha too funny.”

Someone else added: “I’m wheezing at Hercule.”

A third wrote: “All these names you think are cute, but they grow up and they don’t want to have a cute name haha.”

Agreeing, a fourth said: “I think some people don’t fully grasp that they are not only naming a tiny baby, but a full adult who eventually will be a husband/wife/professional.”
