MAFS UK viewers all saying the same thing after first couple leave this year’s experiment

Eve Reid and Charlie Curtis were branded the 'most incompatible couple' in show’s entire history

This week has been a particularly dramatic one for the cast of Married At First Sight UK following the explosive dinner party ordeal.

In case you're not caught up with the latest, the episode saw Polly describe Charlie as 'mean' and a 'little bit of a bully' following comments that her bride Eve had made about her.

This led to quite the rift between the contestants alongside a questionable discussion between Eve and Charlie, who were sadly reduced to tears by the whole situation.

Previous to the dinner party, the couple fell out after the love experts had asked them to write letters to each other discussing their lives and their relationship.

Charlie opened up to Eve about the effect of her parents' split, as well as her subsequent estrangement from her dad - then, shockingly, Eve said she hadn't even written a letter.

It ended in a row, with viewers calling Eve a 'gaslighter' and branding them the 'most incompatible couple' in show’s entire history.

Then, the backlash following Tuesday's heated episode (1 October), left so many Channel 4 viewers 'uncomfortable' they even called for her to be removed from the TV show altogether.

Obviously, considering the fact the series isn't filmed in real time, Eve can't actually be removed per se - but that's not stopped viewers from voicing their frustrations at everything that's since unfolded.

And now, MAFS UK viewers are all saying the exact same thing after Eve and Charlie became the first couple to leave this year’s experiment in last night's episode (2 October) in a dramatic commitment ceremony.

"I'm conflicted. Yes, it's the right decision but its still tough walking away from people you have feelings for," Charlie told cameras.

"I'm leaving a heartbroken woman right now."

Many have since rushed to social media to hit out that Charlie didn’t deserve to be treated that way at all while pointing issue with Eve’s 'awful' behaviour.

One X user stated: "Eve really gaslighting in broad daylight omg. There has to be a worst word for this."

A second admitted: "I’m actually crying for Charlie my heart is just shattering for her with the way Eve is treating her. JUSTICE FOR CHARLIE!"

"It’s so uncomfortable to watch how Eve is breaking Charlie down and gaslighting her all the time," echoed a third.

Another defended: "We all stand with your Charlie, how awful to be put through this.

"Hope she finds a person who makes her feel safe, warm, protected and cared for. She deserves every inch of happiness after being subjected to this turmoil."

And a final X user slammed: "There’s nothing worse than someone who makes you question reality and your sanity.

"Truly terrifying. Eve is dangerous."

Tyla has reached out to Channel 4 for comment.
