Taylor Swift’s dancer defended over controversial dress at wedding

A dancer from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is being defended after her choice of dress for the singer’s star-studded wedding went viral.
Tori Evans was one of the 1,000 guests at Swift and Travis Kelce’s extravaganza at Madison Square Garden on 3 July.
Details are scarce however some guests have given the world a cheeky glimpse at what guests saw, including embroidered napkins with a cute reference to one of Swift’s biggest hits.
Evans shared a video showing how she got ready for the huge event along with her husband TJ Shaw.

“So it’s going to be forever,” Evans captioned the post, which saw the guest do a cool transition which started with her tripping in her hotel robe and slippers before standing up wearing a gorgeous ballgown as her husband transformed from his boxer shorts into a full suit - if only getting ready really was this fast.
However Evans’ outfit choice caught the ire of the internet shortly after. Many social media critics claimed Evans was wearing a white gown, a colour that is traditionally reserved for the bride.
The dress is a cinderella-inspired gown with a matching neck drape. She paired the dress with a matching clutch and bright yellow heels.
“Wayyyyy too close to white for a wedding yikes,” one user said.
Another shocked viewer replied: “You wore WHITE????”
A third complained: “Who wears white to a wedding.”
Someone else called the dress ‘tasteless’ because of its colour.
Although the dress may appear to be white because of its shimmer fabric and the lighting, it turns out it’s not.
Evans’ husband stepped in to defend his wife and explain her choice of dress and its colour.
“DRESS IS PINK CHAMPAGNE colour for everyone that doesn’t understand lighting,” he replied in the comments.
Fans of Evans were quick to commend Shaw for defending his wife. “Even if it was white, not a single one of us saw an invite, maybe white was allowed - we have no idea! She looks fabulous in pink champagne!!!!”
“AN ABSOLUTE SLAYYYYY,” another fan gushed.
While someone else wrote: “Stunningggg.”
Swift and Kelce invited 1,000 guests to their wedding - and most of them were absurdly famous, uniting the worlds of sport, music, film and TV.
