Taylor Swift has allegedly requested two mega stars to perform at her and Travis Kelce’s wedding ceremony - and they’ve both played an integral part in her rise to fame.
The ‘Bad Blood’ singer and Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, both 36, announced their engagement via social media last August, and fans have been speculating on wedding details ever since.
The couple, who began dating during Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, are rumoured to be saying ‘I do’ on either 3 or 4 July, with Madison Square Garden in New York allegedly being touted as the preferred venue, according to reports.
Celebrity guestlist rumours have also been circulating, with one source claiming the pair’s nuptials are ‘going to be bigger than the Met Gala’, with Suki Waterhouse, Kesha, the HAIM sisters, and Jason Kelce all rumoured to have been gifted golden tickets.

Despite the online discourse, neither Swift nor her husband-to-be has actually confirmed if their wedding is at MSG on either date or who will be in attendance.
Naturally, chatter has turned to who may have the honour of performing at the bash… and two icons have been named.
According to a report by TMZ, one woman who will allegedly appear on stage at the Swift-Kelce wedding is none other than Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks.
The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and the ‘Blank Space’ singer go way back; they dueted ‘You Belong With Me’ and ‘Rhiannon’ at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2010 and have remained pals ever since.

In April 2024, Nicks, 78, was name-dropped on ‘Clara Bow’, the sixteenth track on Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. She was also spotted attending the Eras Tour.
The publication reported that, like Nicks, American country singer Tim McGraw is also set to appear at Swift and Kelce’s ceremony.
Back in June 2006, the singer released her debut single, named after McGraw and later performed it to him at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2007.
Later that year, she served as the opening act at several of his live dates with his wife and fellow country icon, Faith Hill.

She returned the favour by inviting him to join her on stage during the Speak Now World Tour and Reputation Stadium Tour.
Tyla has contacted representatives of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for comment.
It’s been claimed that one unnamed person who has been invited to Swift and Kelce’s wedding has been denied a plus-one.
“My invite did not let me bring a plus one,” they told The Daily Mail. “I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone?
“That is so awkward. I don't think I am going to attend because I don't want to go by myself, and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”
Speaking to Tyla on behalf of Covers, etiquette expert Grant Harrold explained how the plus-one rule can sometimes get ‘complicated’.
He said, “Traditionally, a married guest should automatically get a plus one for their spouse. There should be no question about it. It’s a very old etiquette tradition.

“But it’s a bit more complicated when it comes to boyfriends and girlfriends. I would say you shouldn’t assume your partner shouldn’t automatically expect a plus one if you’re not married. However, the world we live in today is very different, and people generally let people bring a plus-one along.”
Delving specifically into Taylor and Travis’ case, the expert reasoned: “In Taylor and Travis’ case, I imagine there are two reasons for their decisions to cut plus ones.
“Firstly, this is Taylor Swift’s wedding, and maybe she doesn’t want people to tag along as fans. She might not know them and it could pose a security and photography issue. It could be as simple as that.”
He added that it could ‘also be due to the venue size and due to space,’ as ‘they might have a number on who they can invite’.
“At the end of the day, it’s their wedding, so they have the right to make the decision - and it’s the same for any bride and groom,” Harrold concluded.
Tyla has previously contacted representatives for Swift and Kelce for comment.

Travis Kelce attends Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Kansas City. He later admits on his New Heights podcast that he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it, but was unsuccessful.
Swift makes her debut appearance at one of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games, watching from a suite alongside his mum, Donna. Swift and Kelce are seen leaving the stadium together.
The singer supports Kelce at another one of his games, this time in New Jersey. She's joined by the likes of Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, and Hugh Jackman.
Later this month, Swift and Kelce are snapped holding hands in New York after both making surprise cameos on Saturday Night Live.
Speaking of how their romance came about, Kelce tells The Wall Street Journal: “There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was. I had somebody playing Cupid.”
In her TIME Person of the Year interview, Swift reveals that she and Kelce spent ‘a significant amount of time’ getting to know each other before she was seen at his NFL games.
She adds: "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”
A video shows the pair sharing a kiss to celebrate the New Year.

Swift travels from Tokyo to Las Vegas to watch Kelce and the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.
The couple has a loved-up celebratory moment on the field after the game, hugging and kissing away.
Later this month, the NFL star is seen supporting his girlfriend at an Eras Tour show in Sydney.
The couple go Instagram official after Swift’s first Eras Tour show at London’s Wembley Stadium. The singer posts a selfie of them with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte backstage.

A day later, Kelce makes his Eras Tour debut, joining Swift on stage at Wembley. He dons a tuxedo and top hat for the transition between ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ and ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’.
While accepting the Video of the Year award at the VMAs for her song ‘Fortnight’, Swift says: “The thing is, this video seems very sad when you watch it, but actually it was like, the most fun video to make.
“Something that I’ll always remember is that when I would finish a take and I’d say ‘Cut,’ and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone like, cheering, and like, ‘Woo!’ Like from across the studio where we were shooting it and that one person was my boyfriend Travis.”
Kelce throws Swift an Eras Tour-themed party to celebrate her record-breaking tour.
Swift once again attends the Super Bowl, however, Kelce’s team are less successful this time.
The couple step out for their red carpet debut at Kelce's Tight End University in Nashville.
August 2025
Swift finally appears on New Heights, where she announces her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
The couple also give a rare insight into their relationship, with the hitmaker joking that the podcast ‘got her a boyfriend’.
On 26 August, Swift and Kelce share news of their engagement on Instagram with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
