Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Greg James shared a cheeky comment about Leonardo DiCaprio after attending Taylor Swift’s wedding in New York.
James was among the 1,000 famous guests at Swift’s huge ceremony at Madison Square Garden over the weekend after receiving a public invitation last October.
The BBC radio star, who had already revealed he attended Swift and Travis Kelce’s ceremony, skipped his Radio 1 show on Monday morning to continue having fun in the Big Apple.
This is because James is also a sports fan and managed to score a last minute invite to the Brazil vs Norway World Cup match close by on Sunday evening.

When asked about attending both the game and Swift’s wedding, James joked about his celebrity connections in his response.
“How’d it feel to be possibly one of the only people in that stadium that went to Taylor Swift’s wedding,” the fan asked.
“Really great actually thanks for asking,” James replied. “Particularly good because Leonardo DiCaprio was at the match looking all smug there in a hospitality box but wasn’t at the wedding. That’s showbiz Leo!”
The Titanic star was seemingly one of the few major a-listers who wasn’t at Swift and Kelce’s huge ceremony on Friday, even though the “Blank Space” singer previously teased she would invite ‘anyone that I’ve ever talked to’.

Despite moving in the same A-list circles for years, Swift and DiCaprio have only been spotted together a handful of times.
They were both at a star-studded Oscars after-party in 2024 before ending up in the same VIP suite at Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs game against the Houston Texans in December 2025, alongside Selena Gomez.
Fans have long loved the fact that Swift even gave the Oscar winner a shout-out in her 2019 hit “The Man”, comparing herself to “Leo in Saint-Tropez", and while there's been plenty of speculation over whether she asked his permission to use the lyric, neither star has ever confirmed the rumour.

Swift and Kelce invited 1,000 guests to their wedding - and most of them were absurdly famous, uniting the worlds of sport, music, film and TV.
