Lizzo has shown off her dramatic weight loss in a new Instagram before-and-after post - and fans are all saying the same thing.

The 37-year-old pop icon has been incredibly open about her fitness journey and has made her structured regime and lifestyle changes no secret to her fans.

Last month, she even candidly admitted that she tried Ozempic at the beginning of her weight loss journey back in 2023.

However, she came to the conclusion that the GLP-1 medication wouldn't help her in the long term and instead focused on counting calories instead of taking the weekly jab.

Opening up on the topic during an episode of Trisha Paytas' Just Trish podcast in June, Lizzo said: “I tried everything. Ozempic works because you eat less food, yeah? So if you eat right, it makes you feel full.

“But if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it's the same thing."

The admission came after the singer faced constant backlash from trolls who doubted that her hard work was done in the gym and instead were convinced it was down to the jab.

Now, Lizzo has shut down the haters once again, while showcasing her jaw-dropping transformation.

Posting to Instagram today (4 July) she shared two side by side snaps - one from the beginning of her journey and one from now.

Both were taken in the same place, before she got a lymphatic massage.

She explained in the caption how she ‘works her ass off’ and credits her weight loss to diet and lifestyle changes rather than the drug.

Lizzo penned: “I work my ass off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit, cutting out sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips…

“I quit drinking for the longest… (but I’m drinking again cus I earned it!)… I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water.”

Continuing to list off her routine, she added: “I detox! Once a month! I also get holistic body work done, wood therapy, and lymphatic massage. I’m so happy and proud of what I’ve done and no one can take that away from me.”

Fans of the pop icon have rushed to the comments to share their support and insist that they loved her ‘then and now’ - and we agree!

One Instagram user wrote: “What hard work looks like, you should be so proud of yourself. Beautiful then, beautiful now.”

A second chimed in with: “We loved you THEN and we love you NOW,” alongside a fire emoji.

Meanwhile, others quipped: “Yaaaaaasssss Lizzo out here living WELL” and “Congratulations Lizzo you did it”.

“I think you look great and whatever you do to stay healthy is your business,” penned another fan.

And others added: “You look fabulous, but you always have” and “And you look great! All that hard work paying off.”
