Speeches at award ceremonies can often be controversial, and censorship isn't anything new.
Fans can be left frustrated when they miss out on what their favourite celeb said while watching at home.
Snoop Dogg was speaking at the 83rd Golden Globes on Sunday (11 January), when he was about to present the award for Best Podcast.
It's a new category at the awards show, seeing as so many celebs have now taken up a spot behind the microphone and put out their own episodes.

Snoop did what Snoop does best and duly caused chaos.
He jokingly berated the audience: “I need y’all to loosen up a little bit. This is the double-Gs, the double-Gs, it’s the Golden Globes, and you’re with the D-O-double-G. So, make sure you enjoy yourself, don’t be no stiff biff! Move around a little bit!”

Fortunately, his comments were met with laughter.

The rapper then made a confession to the audience both in the building and at home which led to him being bleeped.
“I’m high as a motherf***** right now,” he declared.
Awards ceremonies can drag on for a long time, with Snoop then joking: “Y’all had me here too damn long!”

He also made fun of the category, saying podcasts have lost him listeners on the go: “Best Podcast is a very important category for me, because, before podcasts, I was what y’all would listen to driving around in your cars.”

“To you podcasters, you better hope I don’t get in that game,” Snoop jokingly threatened.
He added: “Shout-out to the Golden Globes for putting the podcast category in this awards show. And shout-out to all of the podcasters. You all are winners, but the real winner is...”
Despite his confession, he managed to present the award to Amy Poehler, who won for her podcast Good Hang.

Poehler joked: “Wow, this is exactly how I pictured it: Snoop giving me the award. Thank you so much!”
Snoop joking about being high shouldn't have come as a surprise, as he's made an entire career making music about it and also has his own cannabis brand.
He wasn't the only one to fall foul of the pesky censor bleep on the night, as winners Teyana Taylor and Erin Doherty both swore onstage.
At least it was a memorable one.

Elsewhere, Kylie Jenner was accused of 'ruining' Timothée Chalamet's big moment at the awards show after he claimed victory over Leonardo DiCaprio.
Speaking of Leo, host Nikki Glaser also apologised for her 'cheap joke' about the age of the women he dates.
