It has been a long 16 years since we got our last dose of the shagadelic man of mystery, Austin Powers, but Mike Myers just revealed we're about to get some more.
After dropping some major hints about new film earlier this year, the actor finally told Access Online that a new Austin Powers adventure is in the works and it sounds groovy, baby.

"You're going to see Dr Evil soon, somewhere in the culture. The [fourth Austin Powers] movie... it's looking good," he said, later adding: "They take a long time to write, they always have."

Powers hasn't been on our screens with any new material since Austin Powers in Goldmember was released all the way back in 2002.
Not only did Mike Myers confirm a new film is in the pipeline, he also revealed it will have the same director as the previous three films, Jay Roach, so we know it'll be just as groovy as ever.
He said: "They take a long time to right, Jay's been crazy - he's doing a fantastic movie right now he's working on."
It goes without saying that 16 years is a pretty long time to wait for the fourth installment, but it turns out there's a pretty good reason as to why.
Earlier this year, Mike told Digital Spy: "You know, I've been very... I've had three kids in the last six years and that's sort of where my focus has been."
Fair play, Mike. We'll let you off then.

Myers first introduced us to Powers back in 1997 parodying some of the most famous Bond films in the making - in the films it would always see Powers take on his nemesis from the 60s Dr Evil, also played by Myers, and star alongside 90s British icon Liz Hurley.
Myers' on-screen sidekick, Verne Troyer, tragically passed away earlier this year, and it's safe to say the film franchise won't be the same without him.
We can't wait to find out what the international man of mystery is up to these days.
