Rita Wilson has hinted at what fans can expect from the Girls revival - and she’s just as excited as the rest of us.
The 70-year-old actor, producer, and singer-songwriter starred in Lena Dunham’s 2010s comedy drama as Evie Michaels, the eccentric mother of Marnie Michaels, who was played by Allison Williams.
And last month, she confirmed to Variety that she would be more than happy to make a comeback as the fan-favourite character.
Now, speaking to Tyla to celebrate her album Sound of a Woman and her accompanying tour, Wilson has predicted what Dunham might come up with.

Confirming that it's one of her favourite shows, the actress gushed: “I honestly have to say that I trust implicitly, and I’m so excited by what Lena will come up with, for what she has to say about these four women, picking up years after the series ended.
“And that also applies to Marnie’s mom, Evie, and what she would be doing 10 years from now. I’m so curious; it could go so many different ways.”

She laughed: “Whatever I could come up with would only be surpassed by what Lena would come up with. I’m excited to open the gifts on Christmas morning when she figures it out.”
Starring the OG cast, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, and Andrew Rannells, the revival will swap out the chaos of the characters' 20s for the unique set of challenges that come in midlife.
Speaking to Tyla, Wilson questioned: “Hannah’s character has a child who’s now 10 years old. What happened? Where did that relationship go with the father of that child? Do they have a relationship? Does the child have a relationship? Is she married? Does she have a partner? What is that like?”
She added: “I think she explored it a little bit in Too Much, the series that we filmed together in the UK, because her character has a 13-year-old son. And I thought that was a great sort of exploration of that relationship, of what Hannah might be like with her child.
“And, you know, what did Jessa do? What did Marnie end up doing?”

The singer predicted: “I think we’re gonna see what the workforce is like, see what the challenges have been; we’re gonna address influencers, we’re going to look at interfamilial relationships.
“I think there’s going to be a lot to explore; it’s endless. I often say that Sound of a Woman, the album, could be volume one of 100.
“As Walt Whitman said, I contain multitudes; women contain multitudes.”
On 14 October, it was confirmed that Girls would be coming back to our screens for a limited run, ten years after the series finale aired in April 2017.
As per the BBC, Dunham, who not only created the show but starred in it, said in a statement: “We always said we would only return to Girls if there was a specific story we were burning to tell.
"I've missed these characters, but for a long time I couldn't quite picture them in the present day.
"Then, right around my 40th birthday, they started talking to me in the shower. And, as you may remember, once this fivesome starts talking, it's pretty hard to get them to stop.”
Rita Wilson's Sound of a Woman tour will come to London, Glasgow and Dublin in November. Tickets are on sale now at www.ritawilson.com
