All our Christmases may have just come at once...

Christmas is just round the corner, which can only mean one thing - our chocolate consumption is going to skyrocket.

Nothing gets us in the festive spirit more than a box of chocolates from Lindt, and now, the decadent chocolatier has released a brand new flavour here in the UK for us to indulge ourselves in.

The new Lindt features white chocolate with peppermint pieces (

Their succulent white chocolate Lindor range has now been expanded to include limited edition Candy Cane truffles - and we are drooling.

The indulgent sweets consist of deliciously smooth white Lindt chocolate, liberally filled with peppermint candy cane pieces and filled with a rich delectable centre.

Instagram product review account, Kevs Snack Reviews, has already managed to try the goodies, which are expected to fly off the shelves - and their verdict is unsurprisingly positive.

"There's crunchy candy cane pieces in the shell atop the classic smooth filling, it's nicely minty but the white chocolate tempers the flavour so it's not too overpowering," reads their review. "The chocolate melts in the mouth nicely leaving little crunchy candy cane pieces."

You can grab a box to share (or let's face it, to treat yourself with) from GBGifts.co.uk for only £5.99 - but boxes are selling fast, so be quick!

Amazon is also selling the truffles, but as the Candy Cane flavour is usually only available in American markets, a pack of 24 truffles will set you back the princely sum of £22.99. We're sure they're worth every penny.

In other chocolate news, chocoholics may have the opportunity to earn £600 to be a taste tester.

Well, if you're going to sit around munching on the sweet stuff at home all day, you may as well be paid for it!

Electric Piñata will send the official bakery tester a hamper filled with sweet treats, which could include their new Circus Caramel bake, or maybe their new Fluffy Nutter flavour, or even their Mint Delicious Rocky Road. Everything will be delivered to your door for you to test, taste and review.

You are then paid £50 a month for the privilege, and in return you have to write reviews and send the company photos and videos of the products.
