We are drooling.

Caramel Twirls have just hit the UK and we couldn't be drooling anymore.

The original is fabulous enough. That generous outer layer of creamy Cadbury's chocolate, with a heart of delicate, flakey chocolatey goodness.

As chocolate bars go, it's a classic. Mmm.

Essentially, a Twirl offers two Flake-style bars, with the added benefit of being encased in delicious milk chocolate, giving a satisfying snap when bitten into.

Twirls first hit UK sweet counters as a single bar in the early 70s, and were repackaged in 1984 as a twin bar.

And fans of the original or those simply with a sweet tooth can rejoice, as you can now buy New Cadbury Caramilk Twirls - a variant on the popular choccie bar, pimped with white chocolate and caramel.

There's the same milk chocolate shell, only this time with a caramel-flavoured white chocolate interior. Heaven.

The bars are new from Australia, and are available via British Sweet and Chocolate Company GB Gifts, which ships worldwide.

GB Gifts' Cadbury Caramilk Twirls are priced at £2.99 each, plus shipping.

Orders can be made now, with new stock due 10th January.

Reviews are flooding in across social media.

"Finally Twirl Caramilk has been released," wrote one Instagram reviewer. "Love the combination of the two chocolates! Although the milk chocolate does dominate, the swirls of caramilk are delicious. 9/10.

Another wrote: "We absolutely loved this bar! It reminded us of the old Snow Flake bar!! They're so good!"

Elsewhere in GB Gifts world of whacky chocolate bars, sugar addicts can snap up Snickers Bars from China in unexpected fruity flavours like peach, coconut and even lemon.

"The coconut one is insanely good," wrote one enthusiastic Instagram user. "I tried these in China this summer."

Or how about a popcorn-flavoured Kit Kat Chunky from Dubai? Creamy chocolate, layers of crisp wafer and popcorn kernels, all in one.

We reckon this would be a first class film snack - a bit like chocolate-coated popcorn, but in bar form
