Lidl Is Launching A Pigs-In-Blankets Pizza And It's A Game Changer

If you were in any doubt that Christmas was here, let this week's food drops be a testament.

Already we've had pigs-in-blankets sausage rolls (thanks ASDA) and a Christmas dinner pizza (nice one Twisted Slice) and now, another delectable festive treat to add to the list.

Pizza lovers, rejoice: a pigs-in-blankets pizza is here.

Lidl is launching its brand new Pigs in Blanket Festive Pizza which will cost shoppers just £3.29. And it sounds SO worth it.

The pizza is comprised of a delicious stone-baked sourdough base, topped with Mediterranean style tomato sauce, red onions, cranberry sauce and everyone fave Christmas dinner component: juicy pigs-in-blankets.

The pizza is available in store from Thursday 5th December on a limited time basis - so you'll need to be quick to try the treat.

However, if you do miss out, maybe you'll be able to get your hands on another of the supermarket's pigs-in-blankets-inspired treats.

Lidl's Christmas range also includes a Birchwood British Yard long Pig In Blanket (£4.49) and Chicken in Blankets (£2.79) - a twisted the classic using chicken sausage wrapped in turkey rashers, available from 19th December.

Other mouth-watering additions to the Christmas range include Deluxe 6 RSPCA Outdoor Bred British Pork Stuffing Parcels (£2.79), Deluxe Turkey, brie & cranberry Festive Feast Sourdough Pizza (£3.29), Deluxe 6 RSCPA Outdoor Bred British Pork Stuffing Parcels (£2.79) and Birchwood 2 British Footlong Pigs In Blanket (£3.29).

But it doesn't stop there, you can also pick up Birchwood British Chicken Sausages Wrapped in Turkey Rashes (£2.79), Deluxe RSCPA Outdoor Bred British Pork Cranberry & Apple Stuffing Log (£3.49) and Deluxe 6 RSCPA Outdoor Bred British Pork Chipolata Sausages Wrapped in Smoked Dry Cured Bacon (£2.59).

In other pigs-in-blankets-related news, yesterday ASDA launched pigs-in-blankets sausage rolls, sold fresh from the bakery.

The hybrid of dreams sees seasoned sausage meat wrapped in streaky bacon and hand-rolled in flaky puff pastry. They are cooked fresh in store meaning you can pick a warm one up from ASDA's bakery any time you like.
