Move over, Christmas pudding - we've found the perfect dessert to indulge in after our festive feast.

The super-sized seasonal treat is made up with a delicate choux pastry, loaded with creamy chocolate mousse and tangy caramel sauce galore, before being topped with a rich, delicious fondant, caramel flavour fudge icing and a gold coloured sweet dusting.

We're unbuttoning our jeans just thinking about it.

The choux-ge pastry is available at selected Asda stores for £5, and is set to be popular amongst cake enthusiasts.

After a picture of the Giant Éclair was posted on Facebook page Money Saver Online, fans were quick to say that, even though it's meant to serve 10, the pastry will likely be a decadent treat for one.

"Ten?" wrote one. "I'm eating that on my own."

"Serves 10?" another joked. "I'm eating that on my own."

"Are you sure it's for feeding 10 people, and not to last just 10 minutes?" a third sniggered.

However, not everyone will be able to handle such a large pastry - and for those who prefer things in smaller packages, Asda are selling two packs of chocolate eclairs for 79p instead.

In other dreamy dessert news, Asda is also selling a boozy Baileys Chocolate Yule Log to add to your planned Christmas spread.

Made of a "soft chocolate sponge rolled with chocolate flavoured frosting coated in milk chocolate, [and] covered with the signature Baileys frosting," the tasty treat is "finished with bronzed chocolate curls and an edible chocolate Baileys plaque".

But if you'd only like a touch of Baileys in your pud, try Baileys Salted Caramel Mini Cupcakes - which are topped with Baileys salted caramel frosting and a drizzle of caramel.

Retailing at £5 and £4 respectively, looks as if we're spoilt for choice for chocolate this Christmas!
