ASDA Is Selling A Giant Chocolate And Caramel Eclair That Serves 10 People

ASDA is selling a huge chocolate eclair which is also filled with caramel - just in time for you to overindulge at Christmas.

During the festive season it is the trend to make everything giant, whether it be pigs in blankets or mince pies, so we are definitely all for this giant eclair.

Costing a reasonable £5, the festive treat's packaging states that it is enough to serve 10 people, but we're not sure we're ready to share.

The choux pastry éclair is filled with chocolate mousse and caramel flavour sauce, and as if that wasn't enough sugar, it is also topped with chocolate fondant, caramel flavour fudge icing, and gold coloured sweet dusting.

It's a good job it's the season to eat everything in sight.

The super-sized treat is available online and in selected stores, so if you want it for your Christmas day desert you best get it ordered.

If you don't think you could tackle it all in one go then there's nothing to worry about as it can be kept in the fridge for up to three days giving you and your family or friends plenty of time to enjoy it.

Each serving of the eclair contains 146 calories, and the whole thing has 1460 calories worth of chocolate, pastry and caramel inside.

After a picture of the pastry was shared online social media users pointed out that the eclair wouldn't be shared between 10 people.

One user wrote: "Serves 10? I highly doubt that...I could finish that myself!"

Another added: " Finally an eclair the right size! Serves 10, perfect for one!"

If you are planning on going for a supersized theme on your Christmas table you might as well treat your guests to foot long pigs in blankets.

Aldi's giant pigs in blankets are already in stores and come in packs of two and at just £2.99 they are a bargain addition to your Christmas dinner.
