The purveyors of boozy Irish cream have just announced the release of a delicious-sounding marble-effect cake, and the good news is it's already landed in stores.
Available to buy from Thursday 3rd September (scroll down for stockist info), the new Baileys Marbled Cake is billed as "a classic chocolate and marbled sponge filled and topped with Baileys flavoured frosting, complete with a modern, stylish marble effect blended around the outside."
Anyone else already drooling?
The show-stopping gateau is finished with teardrops of chocolate-flavoured frosting and edible curls and decorations, making it the perfect party centrepiece (or, you know, mid-morning snack. No judgement here.)
The new launch, priced at £12, is the latest addition to Baileys' range of "adult-only cakes", made in collaboration with Finsbury Food Group.
The range also includes the Hot Chocolate Freakshake, Salted Caramel Cupcakes, Chocolate Yule Log and the summer favourite, Strawberries and Cream cake.
It comes as the marble trend continues to sweep the UK, from interiors and accessories to bakery.
A spokesperson for Finsbury Food Group said: "As our Baileys range continues to do so well, we're always looking for new ways to create delicious cutting-edge cakes that deliver something different for Baileys fans who love cake.
"This time around, we wanted to give shoppers a product that echoes current trends in the baking industry, which they can enjoy without the fuss."
Declan Hassett of Diageo added: "The marble effect is something we've wanted to put our Baileys stamp on for a while.
"We've been working hard to stay ahead of the curve and achieve the most beautiful design that still has that delicious, mouth-watering, signature Baileys taste, much-loved by many.
"We have already enjoyed great success with Finsbury and our range of Baileys-infused cakes, and we have no doubt this is going to be one to be enjoyed throughout the rest of the year and beyond!"
Baileys Marbled Cake will be available in Sainsburys from 2nd September, Tesco and Morrisons from 7th September and Asda from 29th September
