This Waterproof Pillow Lets You Sleep With Wet Hair

It's the beauty buy we didn't know we needed.

Even though our mothers always told us to not go to bed with wet hair or risk catching our death (a wild exaggeration), we continually defy their advice.

And while we may or may not have caught the lurgy due to damp hair in our time, a new towel pillowcase is set to put our mums' minds to rest.

DryZzz, "the pillowcase for wet heads", promises to suck out all the moisture from your hair while you sleep. It's a Christmas miracle... in August.

The revolutionary pillowcase is available on Bed, Bath & Beyond.

The revolutionary product is made of absorbent microfibre that has a waterproof lining - and even is machine washable. Winning.

The brand was founded by two American mothers who were inspired by their young daughters, who often went to bed immediately after showering.

Miami-based inventors Linda Schwitalla Villena and Susan Schwitalla Culmo said that the pillowcase goes beyond hair care and is also perfect for those dealing with night sweats or drooling. What's more, a portion of sales from the DryZzz are donated to Sofia's Hope, a fund for paediatric cancer research.

Available at Bed, Bath & Beyond starting from £17.03, the product has received a 4.8 star rating out of five by customers, who were blown away by its genius.

One customer, who gave it five stars, penned: "I bought this pillowcase for my teenage daughter, who always sleeps with wet hair. She loves it! We bought another pillowcase last fall to use in her dorm room when she went off to college."

"I bought this for 2 little 5 year olds that bathe before going to bed. It works for their long wet hair," (sic) another reviewer wrote on the site.

A third, who also gave it five stars, shared: "I love the towel side it keeps my pillow dry and is very comfortable. The other side gets softer with every washing...

Customer raved about the pillowcase online.

"I saw a couple of reviews talk about the non-towel side is rough, but it does soften after washing."

And while this is absolute find, it should be noted that shipping a single pillowcase from Bed, Bath & Beyond will set you back £30 - but if you're dedicated to the wet-hair-before-bed cause them maybe it's worth the investment.
