Heidi Klum shares first look at Halloween costume leaving fans guessing
It’s officially that time of year again - Heidi Klum, the Queen of Halloween, has dropped a sneak peek of her costume.
No one does the spooky holiday quite like the German supermodel, 53, who goes all out every year with iconic costume choices that usually involve a lot of planning, special effects, and makeup.
Some of her most notable looks include ET, Shrek, Jessica Rabbit, a peacock, and even a giant earthworm.
And it looks like this year is going to be no different, as Klum’s clue to what she has in store for 2026 seems gruesome, to say the least.

On Sunday (25 October), she posted a photo to Instagram of what can only be described as a mismatch of organs: a brain and tentacles, as well as a possible trunk.
She cryptically penned in the caption: “What’s my costume? One week to go….#HeidiHalloween.”
The guesses have been flying in, with the most popular being Demi Moore in the body horror film The Substance.
Other predictions range from your generic Halloween costumes to some very, very niche concepts.
One social media user penned: “Something underwater,” while a second guessed: “An autopsy?”
A third wrote: “Intestines?” and a fourth added: “Coral reef. Inspired by St. Barth’s.”
A fifth agreed: “Great Barrier Reef,” while a sixth suggested: “Pirates of the Caribbean when the pirates become sea creatures on the Flying Dutchman.”
“That's the end of The Substance!” demanded a seventh, while an eighth theorized: “The zombie from The Last of Us?”
One fan even hilariously guessed: “Beef soup with lots of vegetables?” while another predicted: “Sea urchins or sea cucumber or Ursula from The Little Mermaid.”
Meanwhile, others simply praised the model’s efforts, writing: “The queen of Halloween, Heidiween” and “No idea, but I’m so excited to see it.”
Last year, Klum showed up as a very scary Medusa, complete with pointy teeth, moving snakes in her hair, and a long tail.
As always, her husband Tom Kaulitz complemented his wife’s look by dressing up as a man turned to stone, a victim of Medusa.
Klum takes Halloween very seriously and each year hosts a star-studded bash in New York City, with last year’s event, her 24th Halloween party, taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel.
In September, giving another hint at this year’s look, Klum told PEOPLE Magazine: “It’s very, very bloody,’ adding that it ‘goes very well with red wine’.
Speaking about her extreme pre-Halloween prep, she added: “I try to hydrate during the day, because once I go into costume - or usually two, three hours before - I just won’t drink anything. Especially if it’s like the worm or something I can’t take off… all the drinking has to be done before.”
She also keeps a backup outfit nearby, and revealed that last year, she had to ditch Medusa in order to enjoy the party.
Klum told the publication: “Last year when I was Medusa, I wanted to go back to the party. I couldn’t be in it any longer with all those snakes on my head. I was like, ‘Take it off!’
“So, my husband and I just changed into our bathrobes and came back down with towels on our heads.”
