That's definitely a no-no.

One wedding photographer has revealed one major red flag at the ceremony that can almost guarantee a marriage won't last.

From photographers and videographers to musicians and cake artists, wedding workers have been discussing the red and green flags they've picked on that can determine whether a couple will make it or not.

Asking for the do's and don'ts of weddings on Reddit, one user asked: "Marriage/engagement photographers/videographers of Reddit, have you developed a sixth sense for which marriages will flourish and which will not? What are the green and red flags?"

A lot of wedding workers - and even wedding guests - had picked out the same red flag, agreeing that shoving cake in each other's faces was a major no-no, unless the happy couple had spoken about it beforehand.

One commented: "Photographer here. I swear that all of the couples that have split up have smashed the cake in their SOs face. None of the nice cake couples have. Just my weird anecdotal experience. Maybe it’s a sign of respect for each other."

Another added: "Photographer here: to me the biggest sign is the cake cutting. Some people like to smear the cake everywhere as a joke, some people don't. Usually the couple is in sync about this. They know what the other would like and they don't smush cake on the others face if they wouldn't want that.

"Sometimes one of them (usually the groom) will force cake all over the others face and embarrass and upset them. I've seen this happen a handful of times and all of those relationships that I have kept up with have ended in a divorce."

Backing up the claims, one former bride wrote: "At my wedding, my husband KNEW not to do this. I warned him multiple times before the day NOT TO F***ING DO THIS. Guess what he does when we’re cutting the cake...yup...I was FURIOUS. We lasted two years and he’s now my ex-husband. So I can definitely attest to the accuracy of this lol."

Other red flags included a bride or groom being "super quiet" during the ceremony and reception, to picking country music songs for their first dance.

One photographer had a stand-out red flag moment that stuck with her, telling fellow Redditors: "The groom winking at both my assistant and I during the ceremony.

"He was not winking in the sense that he might have been tearing up or had something in his eye but there was a part in the ceremony where the couple sat down and he would lean his head back in his chair look past his soon to be wife and wink at me or look over his left shoulder and wink at my assistant. It was bizarre."

So yeah, keep an eye out for sleazy groomsmen!

One shocked Redditor commented: "That’s just Morse code for 'I’m a douchebag.'”

That sounds about right to us...
