Prince Harry has claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton had a hilarious reaction when they found out he was dating his now-wife Meghan Markle, who was starring in legal drama Suits at the time.
Harry shocked the world back in January 2023 when he dropped his tell-all, non-fiction book Spare via publishers Penguin Random House.
The page-turner and Sunday Times bestseller was ghostwritten by J. R. Moehringer, a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer whose work has been turned into feature films starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Affleck.

The now-infamous royal memoir didn't hold back, with Harry dishing the dirt on everything from his decision to gain financial freedom from the royal family to claims about his relationship with older brother William.

At one point, Harry recalled the all-important moment he told his brother and sister-in-law about his new celebrity girlfriend.
He revealed that the couple were 'religious' viewers of the show that shot Meghan to stardom and that William even shouted "F*** off!" when he found out his sibling was dating the actress.

As per Spare, the Duke of Sussex admitted: "Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said: F*** off!"
"I was baffled, until Willy and Kate explained that they were regular—nay, religious—viewers of Suits."
He added: "Great, I thought, laughing. I’ve been worrying about the wrong thing. All this time I’d thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family, but now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph.
"They barraged me with questions. I told them a bit of how we’d met, told them about Botswana, told them about Waitrose, told them I was smitten, but overall what I told them was heavily redacted. I just didn’t want to give away too much."

Among the other bombshell revelations in the book, he also claimed that Meghan had allegedly upset Kate with a comment she made ahead of their wedding at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in 2018.
He wrote that he and his wife had initially travelled to William and Kate’s residence so that the couple could ‘clear the air’ between them all.
However, while at Kensington Palace, Meghan was asked to apologise to Kate for a previously made comment.

It’s understood that the Suits actress was accused of ‘offending’ the Princess of Wales by saying she must have been suffering from ‘baby brain’ because she forgot something inconsequential.

"You talked about my hormones. We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones,” Kate allegedly said, as per Spare.
Harry then recounted that William pointed his finger at his then-bride-to-be and said: “It’s not what’s done here in Britain.”

It’s understood Meghan responded by asking the Prince of Wales to ‘take [his] finger out of [her] face’.
“Meg said she’d never intentionally do anything to hurt Kate, and if she ever did, she asked Kate to please just let her know so it wouldn’t happen again,” Harry added. “We all hugged. Kind of.”
Harry added that Meghan felt confused by the mother-of-three’s reaction, remarking that she spoke to the woman in the same way she’d talk to her girlfriends.
