Back in 2024, one of the Duchess of Sussex's former Suits cast-mates gave a rather damning response after being asked by reporters if he's still in touch with her.
This week, however, almost half-a-year since the controversial claim was made, and Meghan has seemingly refuted it by firing a direct remark towards her former co-stars on social media.
For those in need of a reminder, the former actress appeared on the much-loved legal drama for seven seasons, playing paralegal powerhouse Rachel Zane between 2011-2018.
She eventually left the show just prior to her marriage to Prince Harry, becoming a working member of the Royal Family instead. Though, we know by now, that role only lasted until 2020, when she and the Duke resigned from their official duties and set up shop in the States.

What have her former co-stars said?
Anyway - despite a number of Meghan's former colleagues attending her extravagant nuptials, fellow Suits alums Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht insisted last year that neither of them ever hear from the mother-of-two.
Adams - who played the shows lead character Mike Ross, and the Duchess' central love interest - told The Hollywood Reporter at the time that the two have 'zero - no communication.'

"I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don't know what I would say," he also told the Radio Times. "After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I'm a little scared.
"I think it's pure fear. I guess I'm scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation."
Macht, meanwhile - who plays Harvey Spectre - added that had 'not communicated with her, other than seeing her big support for the resurgence [of the show].'

How did Meghan respond?
As we say, however, Meghan has since implicitly refuted rumours that she's no longer close to her former cast-mates, by directly responding to a birthday message from a third star. (Oh, yeah - the Duchess turned 44 on 3 August.)

Abigail Spencer - who played Dana Scott in Suits throughout the same seven seasons that Meghan did, and has the same birthday as her - took to social media earlier this week to share a sweet post.
Spencer captioned a collection of photos alongside the ex-actress: "As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other."
She continued: "Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs. 44/4. 8/4/81."

Confirming there's no bad blood behind the scenes, Meghan went on to respond in the comments: "Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU! 44/4."
Celebrating her big day, the Duchess also received a special message from the team at her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
"Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her!" the firm's official Instagram account wrote. "Happy birthday to our founder @meghan."
