Meghan Markle's Suits co-star had very blunt three-word response when asked if they still speak

Ever since Meghan Markle became a member of the Royal Family, she seemingly stopped talking about her experience working on the hit lawyer TV show Suits, as did her co-stars.

After being made a duchess, there are certain rules that you have to follow, meaning she of course called it quits on her acting career once she tied the knot with Prince Harry.

Naturally people wanted to ask her co-stars to open up to fans on what the Royal was like to work with and whether they still talk now.

The mother-of-two played Rachel Zane in 2011 on the hit drama series which also starred Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman and Sarah Rafferty as they played high-profile solicitors working in New York City.

Even though she started out as a small role, Meghan soon became a fan favourite, and she was even loved by Prince William and the Princess of Wales too as they watched the show.

When she began dating Prince Harry back in 2016, however, the TV star was forced to take a step back from the entertainment industry.

Meghan and Harry wed in 2016 after two years together and went on to welcome two children together – Archie and Lilibet.

Her new role as a member of the monarchy meant Meghan had certain standards to uphold when it came to her decorum in public, and as a result, she began reflecting on her time on Suits less and less.

Thankfully, this hasn’t yet stopped the Duchess' former co-stars from shedding light on what she was like to work with on set.

While the majority of her cast-mates have nothing but positive things to say about her, Patrick J Adams - who played her love interest Mike Ross on the show - seemingly has mixed feelings about his former colleague.

Catching up with The Hollywood Reporter last year, Adams gave a pretty brutal three-word response when asked if they still catch up, years after he and the rest of the cast were invited to her wedding.

Both Macht and Adams were among the Suits stars present at the royal wedding and Adams' character was Meghan's main love interest throughout the show.

Another of their cast-mates Gabriel Macht - who plays Harvey Spectre on the show - told the publication they had 'not communicated with her, other than seeing her big support for the resurgence [of the show]'.

"Zero. No communication," Adams savagely added.

Thankfully, however, he went on to reiterate that there's no bad blood between them, and that their lack of closeness is simply a result of having grown apart.

"I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don't know what I would say," he later told the Radio Times.

"After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I'm a little scared.

"I think it's pure fear. I guess I'm scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation."
