The Duchess of Sussex has finally addressed the backlash she received for a 'labour dance' video she recently shared, while issuing a heartbreaking plea to her online critics.
For those unfamiliar with the video, Meghan shared a clip of her and husband Prince Harry twerking in a hospital ward on 4 June to commemorate the birth of their daughter, Lilibet.
The mother-of-two captioned the video: "Four years ago today, this also happened.

"Both of our children were a week past their due dates…so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do!"
Unfortunately for Meghan, 43, the sweet clip garnered mass criticism from online trolls, many of whom branded her and Harry 'cringe'.
"Keep some private moments…private!" one hater hit out.

Another slammed: "Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are a massive embarrassment to the Royal Family. Simply incredible that they still retain their royal titles."
The Duchess has since addressed the backlash she was subjected to, telling presenter Emma Grede on the latest episode of her Aspire podcast: "You have to be authentic."
Despite the former Suits actress going on to claim she's 'grateful' that 'being back on social' she's able to share her content 'on [her] own terms', she did issue her critics with a heartbreaking plea.
It came after Grede told Meghan: "I want to say this to you in the best way, because I wonder: If you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch, is there anything that you would do differently?"

The Duchess then responded, admitting she isn't pleased by the way she is often perceived.
"Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth," she confessed.
In the episode's preview clip, Meghan also claims the public's perception of her has become 'very different' to how it was while she worked as an actress - a career she stepped down from in 2017 after going public with Prince Harry.

The podcast host went on to praise her for the 'labour dance' clip, claiming she 'did a little cheer' when it was uploaded.
"Like, I wanna see that happiness and that honesty and that 'I don’t give a f**k' kind of thing'," Grede gushed.
The confession prompted Meghan to remind listeners: "By the way, that wasn’t yesterday. That was four years ago.
"So it’s also a really great reminder that, with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life. A real, authentic, fun life that’s happening behind the scenes."
