Donald Trump has sparked major outrage online after, once again, posting a seriously bizarre AI video on social media.

The 79-year-old Republican, as well as the White House, has made quite a habit out of sharing videos and images made using artificial intelligence.

There was the shocking 'Gaza Dream' video, the peculiar May the Fourth picture, the 'childish' Bruce Springsteen clip and the 'embarrassing' photo depicting Trump as Superman just to name a handful.

But his latest upload on his own social media platform, Truth Social, has gone that one step further as it depicts former president Barack Obama being arrested and thrown in jail.

Trump posted the TikTok clip on Sunday (20 July) in which Obama is seen declaring in a rally speech that 'no one is above the law'.

The AI video then shows him being handcuffed by law enforcement during an Oval Office sit down with a very amused Trump, created using real footage of the two men meeting at the White House back in November 2016 when the Republican was president-elect and Obama about to leave office.

Obama can then be seen being led away and wearing an orange jumpsuit in a federal prison.

Oh yeah, and the whole thing is soundtracked by The Village People's 'YMCA' which has since become Trump's personal theme tune.

Upon seeing the clip, one X user questioned: "Is this customary behaviour for a president of the United States to put out this kind of footage of a former president?"

"Why is he obsessed with AI this is getting embarrassing," lamented a second, while a third agreed: "It goes with saying, this is an embarrassment."

A fourth worried: "Now his old voters are gonna think it’s real."

"That’s actually wild work from Donald here," penned a fifth, while a sixth hit out: "This who y'all voted for?"

Another pointed out: "Mind you, Trump is a convicted felon."

And a final X user echoed: "Trump's the one who’s a real convicted felon."

Trump is, in fact, the first convicted felon to serve in the presidential role.

Obama has yet to respond to Trump's AI video, but it's clear Trump isn't stopping his online tirade anytime soon as he's also posting mocked-up prison mugshots of Obama Cabinet members.

The video comes just days after Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, released a report on Friday (18 July) alleging that Obama and his national security Cabinet members manufactured intelligence regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election to 'lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years long coup against President Trump'.

Gabbard added that she would refer the officials to the Justice Department for prosecution.

Such an announcement comes as Trump continues to attempt to move on from the backlash he has received from his supporters and critics alike over his administration's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

LADbible Group has contacted Barack Obama's representatives for comment.
