Donald Trump has been slammed online after posting an extremely 'insensitive' AI 'Gaza Dream' video to social media.

Earlier today (26 February), the 78-year-old Republican leader took to both his own social media platform, Truth Social, and Instagram to post the clip with the overlay text reading in big green lettering: "GAZA 2025 WHAT'S NEXT?"

The video comes after Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire in last month after 46,707 people in Gaza were killed, including nearly 18,000 children during 467 days of war, Al Jazeera reports.

The video was made using artificial intelligence, and is set to an upbeat backing track with lyrics that go as follows: "Donald Trump to set you free, bringing the life for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here."

The track then plays the following line twice before the 34-second clip comes to an end: "Trump Gaza shining bright. Golden future, a brand new life, feast and dance, the deed is done."

"Trump Gaza number one," the lyrics finish.

The video begins with a child sitting in ruins while one man stands over him with a gun with a second man passing him what appears to be a piece of fruit.

Five more scenes of people living amongst the destruction follow, including one of a little boy running away from a man with a gun.

It then cuts to a scene of a woman and two children holding hands as they walk towards a sunny beach with a series of skyscraper buildings in the skyline.

Other scenes show more of the beach filled with boats and sun loungers, a high street dotted with restaurants and expensive cars before panning to an AI-generated depiction of Elon Musk smiling while eating on the beach.

The video then shows a clip of bearded belly dancers also on the beach before showing a child holding a massive gold Trump head balloon in the street.

After a few more building and beach shots, the video then cuts to a clip of Trump dancing closely with a belly dancer before panning to Musk dancing on the beach while a crowd cheered him on as money fell from the sky and children played with it.

A building with the sign 'TRUMP GAZA' is then shown before yet another clip appears of Musk eating.

Towards the end of the clip, a massive gold statue of Trump can be seen on a huge podium in the middle of a roundabout as cars drive around it.

A load more golden 'Trump Gaza' merchandise in the form of mini figurines are then shown before going back to the scene on the beach with Musk as he walks through money falling from the sky.

The video finishes up with a clip of Trump sat with an AI-generated depiction of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, at what looks like a hotel resort in front of a pool on 'Trump Gaza' branded sun loungers drinking beer before ending with shot of another 'Trump Gaza' building again.

Netanyahu, who had an arrest warrant issued on 21 November 2024, was 'allegedly responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024', the International Criminal Court reports.

Unsurprisingly, the disrespectful video has sparked major backlash online, with one social media user writing: "This is absolutely the most grotesque dystopian post I have ever seen from a country's President. Flagrant display of lawless colonialism. Free Palestine from USA & Israel!!"

"This has to be the most disrespectful and tone death thing a president could do," commented another. "Have you not understood or read the room.

"A destroyed country with countless women and children is not something to neglect or poke fun at. Images on you and Netenyahu on sun loungers sipping cocktails is so disrespectful I have no words."

And final person echoed: "This is disgusting at so many levels."
