US president Donald Trump has posted something seriously bizarre online which has left a number of social media users confused.

Now, as we know, Trump is far from shy when it comes to utilising his various social media accounts, especially his personal platfor, Truth Social, as he regularly posts over there.

And there have been several incidents now of Trump posting AI-generated or fake edited images or videos online including the highly offensive 'AI Gaza Dream' video as well as his peculiar Star Wars AI photo of himself.

But the latest update in the saga has seen POTUS raise a few eyebrows after posting an extremely 'childish' fake video targeting singer Bruce Springsteen.

On Wednesday (21 May), the 78-year-old Republican took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, to share an edited clip of him swinging a gold club to a hit a ball on a golf course.

The clip then cuts to separate footage of Springsteen tripping up some stairs on stage with the golf ball edited in such a fashion to make it look like Trump drove it his way and knocked him over with his swing.

He later reposted the clip to his X account the same day in a post which has since racked up 59.4 million views and unsurprisingly, an avalanche of comments calling out Trump's immaturity.

"This is absolutely disgusting!" hit out one X user. "This was just posted on Trump’s Truth Social of him hitting Bruce Springsteen with a golf ball! WTF seriously!"

A second slammed: "The fact that Trump pays someone to create these posts (he has no clue how to turn on a computer) should cause concern that he is the president."

"That’s something a kid would do," a third hit out, while a fourth lamented: "He is a child with the keys to the Oval Office. Make no mistake."

A fifth declared: "Trump acts more like an angsty, prepubescent teenager than President of the United States."

"He’s such a toddler," echoed another and a final X user added: "The immaturity of your administration is embarrassing."

Trump's feud with 75-year-old Springsteen has been growing since last week, when the 'Born in the U.S.A.' star called the White House 'corrupt, incompetent and treasonous' while performing at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

"Tonight we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!" Springsteen said to the cheering crowds.

Springsteen has been a long-time supporter of the Democratic party and had endorsed Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, The Independent reports.

Inevitably, it didn't take long for the president to run to Truth Social to hit out over the rocker's remarks: "I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States.

"Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy - Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country."

Trump also exclaimed that Springsteen 'ought to keep his mouth shut'.
