Donald Trump's 'mysterious' bruise has appeared once again after White House officials explained the reason behind it.
Given the 79-year-old's status as a world leader, it seems only inevitable for all eyes to be on him at all times - especially when internet sleuths spot a bruise on his hand.
The reignited interest in such an ailment is far from new given that Trump has been spotted with bruising on his hand on several occasions included back in February, where was seen with a bruise in the same area following a press conference with French President, Emmanuel Macron.
And, just last week (15 July), the US president was photographed boarding Marine One at the White House on his way to Pittsburgh with the bruise on full display once again.

Well, sort of - it was covered up with what appeared to be make-up.

Following mass speculation online regarding the Republican's health, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has since stated that the bruise is due to the president’s serial handshaking.
When asked if there were any medical reasons that could explain the bruise, Leavitt told the Daily Beast: "President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history.

"His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day."
Well, it appears as if the relentless handshaking hasn't stopped as, just yesterday, the hand bruise cover-up was seen once again.

On Tuesday (22 July), Trump met with Filipino President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in the Oval Office.

During the meeting, Trump voiced confidence at reaching a trade deal with the Philippines as he welcomed his counterpart Ferdinand Marcos to the White House.
Speaking of the US president, he recently issued a savage response to Stephen Colbert’s show cancellation and also announced he’d convinced Coca-Cola to change its recipe.
Over the weekend, the father-of-five caused further controversy online by sharing a strange AI-generated video of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, that showed him being arrested and thrown in jail.
And that's not all as, just days after the video was shared online, Trump accused the 63-year-old of 'treason', remarking Obama was 'guilty' of trying to 'obfuscate' the 2016 election.

A spokesperson for Obama has issued a rare rebuke on claims initially outlined by the Trump administration.
They said that out of 'respect' for the office of the presidency, they would 'not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response'.
"But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction," the spokesperson added.
Tyla has contacted the White House for comment.
