Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk back in September, his wife, Erika Kirk has been the subject of a number of rumours.

On 10 September, the right-wing commentator and Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot at a Republication rally at Utah State University as he addressed a crowd of over 3,000 people.

22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who allegedly killed Kirk with a single bullet fired from the roof of a building approximately 130 metres away, surrendered himself to the local sheriff the following day. He was charged with murder on 16 September.

Since Kirk's death, his wife Erika, with whom he shared a three-year-old daughter, and a son, one, has become a hot topic of conversation, including hordes of rumours and conspiracy theories.

Unfounded claims about the 37-year-old former Miss Arizona range from an alleged affair with Vice President JD Vance to playing a part in the shooting of her husband. But now, one rumour about Kirk's widow has been debunked.

Following the death of her husband, Erika Kirk said she 'prayed she was pregnant', which has since turned into a theory that she is actually carrying his child.

However, theorists state that she's eight weeks pregnant, which would mean she got pregnant two weeks after Kirk was killed. On top of this, Erika has not announced that she's pregnant nor are there any reports citing credible sources on the subject. So, it's safe to say that it's no more than a rumour.

She has, however, admitted that she wishes she'd had another child with her late husband.

Speaking to Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM this week, Erika explained that they'd always pictured having four children together, but only got around to having two.

"We wanted to have four," she confessed. "And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered.

"I was like, 'Oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.'"

She now urges other women to prioritise having a baby as early on as possible.

"Now when I see young couples, I tell them, 'Please, like don't put it off. Especially if you're a young woman, don't put it off. You can always have a career. You can always go back to work.

"You can never just go back to having children, and they grow so fast and so quickly. I was praying, both of us were, we were really excited to just expand our family."
