It's been just over two months since Charlie Kirk was assassinated - and now wild conspiracists have set their sights on his wife Erika with a truly bizarre theory.
For those who need a reminder, the right-wing podcaster and influencer was killed while speaking at a Republican debate at Utah Valley University on September 10.
Whilst talking to students, a single bullet was fired from a nearby rooftop, fatally killing the Turning Point USA founder, with the suspect revealed as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

Kirk left behind his wife Erika, who took over as CEO of Turning Point, and their two young children - a son who turned one in May and a daughter who turned three in August.
As we say though, as Erika has been in the spotlight more since Kirk's tragic death, an absurd group of conspiracy theorists are 'tranvestigating' the widow and her late husband, as reported by the publication, them.

If you have no idea what this means, according to the outlet, 'transvestigating' is essentially a transphobic conspiracy theory that's advanced over the last eight years.
It's where conspiracists and transphobes pick on celebrities, politicians, and other public figures, accusing them of being secretly transgender.
Take Brigitte Macron for example, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, who this year brought a defamation case against far-right US activist and commentator Candace Owens after Owens claimed that Brigitte was 'born a man', implying that she is transgender.
According to the report, the conspiracy usually involves phrenology, which is a now-discredited system that studies the size and shape of someone's skull in order to find out about a person's character or abilities.
Essentially, people are overlaying diagrams of skeletons and skulls over photographs of celebs to point out alleged 'discrepancies' as well as 'analysing' their body language and posture.
As I'm sure you've gathered, it's been wholly discredited by scientific research and essentially, it's just a bizarre conspiracy that has no truth to it.
Nevertheless, there are still believers out there and as we said, they have decided to turn their attention to Erika Kirk, spreading the rumour that she's trans and derisively referring to her as 'Erik'.

One Twitter user drew attention to the matter this week, sharing a screenshot of a Facebook group with over 53,000 members titled 'Transvestigation Disclosure NOW' where a user bizarrely posted several photos of Kirk from her days as a Miss Arizona pageant contestant, trying to make out they showed evidence she's secretly trans.
Their so called evidence? Her jawline, collarbone, and thigh gap. The Facebook user wrote: "That is a man. as most pageant winners are."
One commenter added: “Of course almost all models, especially agent models and Victoria secret models are mostly [trans women]."
While another wrote: "Yup that’s why Charlie Kirk seemed so feminine and emasculated because she was a transgender handler. That’s why he was so pretty."
It actually gets even crazier, as per the publication them, these so called 'transvestigators' often refer to their alleged secret transgender people as 'inverts' and believe they're are 'assigned handlers by whoever is controlling the alleged conspiracy'.
If I didn't think the internet was a baffling enough place yet, I certainly do now!
