Candace Owens has shared the reason why she 'didn’t drink water' during her four-and-a-half-hour meeting with Erika Kirk on Monday (15 December).
The 36-year-old political commentator recently shared a recap of the meeting, claiming that the lengthy discussion left her unconvinced that Tyler Robinson killed Erika's husband, the former Turning Point USA leader.
For context, Owens has previously raised theories and questions about alleged inconsistencies regarding Kirk's death earlier this year. She has repeatedly pushed claims, without evidence, that the government is withholding information and has hinted at foreign involvement.
Erika has been quick to address the speculation in an interview with Fox News last week, where she rejected the conspiracy narratives outright.

In the recap, Owens admitted to her viewers that she was nervous ahead of the meeting and didn't know what the tone of the sit-down would be.
"You guys were telling me not to drink water, so I didn't drink water. Well, I brought my own water, but I didn't drink that water, too. It was a lot. There's a lot going on," she said on her podcast.
She continued: "I was hoping to hear that and I said that I want to hear why people feel so confident at Turning Point USA that Tyler Robinson is the guy."
Owens, who has previously described her relationship with Kirk as 'like a brother' to her, went on to say that Erika was prepared with some phone records and an attorney to explain why some of her theories were incorrect.
But, Owens claimed that when she asked for evidence that 22-year-old Robinson was the suspect, Erika 'elected to call the lawyer'.

"What I got from the lawyer did not make me feel that Tyler Robinson shot Charlie Kirk, does not make me feel confident that he didn't or did shoot Charlie Kirk. I was very surprised by this," she said, adding that the lawyer would not confirm that they have footage of Robinson 'taking the shot' that killed Kirk, and calling what they showed her 'fake'.
Owens added: "He said that they have nothing but the affidavit. So what you have, what we have seen, is what they have."
It seems like nothing the lawyers told Owens, who has claimed that staff at Turning Point USA 'betrayed' their boss, quelled her suspicions that some employees at TPUSA are lying about Kirk's death.
Erika, however, appeared to feel differently.
"Had a very productive conversation with @RealCandaceO. More to come from both of us. Looking forward to AmFest this week. Time to get back to work," she tweeted the day after the meeting on Tuesday (16 December).
