Gigi Hadid Welcomes A Baby Girl With Zayn Malik And Shared Sweet Picture

Sharing the news on Instagram, model Gigi wrote: "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she's already changed our world. So in love".

Alongside the announcement was a picture of former One Direction star Zayn's hand alongside his daughter's, as she laid wrapped in a furry blanket.

Meanwhile, Zayn shared his own picture of the little one clutching his hand, writing: Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful."

"To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task.

"The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together".

News broke that Gigi and her on-again off-again boyfriend Zayn were expecting a baby girl in April when the Victoria's Secret Angel was around 20 weeks pregnant.

Gigi took to Instagram on August 28^th to share some stunning black and white snaps from her pregnancy shoot with her xx million followers, simply captioning one of her posts: "Growing an angel :)".

Prior to her post, Gigi had kept pretty schtum on her pregnancy, explaining during a Q&A session on Instagram that: "Obviously I think a lot of people are confused why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic...my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world.

"That's a reason that I felt like it's not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends."

Gigi and Zayn have come a long way since their early days of dating in late 2015, and during that time they've shot a music video together, attended the Met Gala arm-in-arm, and even posed for a Vogue spread as a couple.

We all know the course of true love never does run smooth, but since rekindling in 2019, it looks like the power couple are firmly back on track.
